Regarding the recent tragedy in which members of the LeBarón colony in Chihuahua were affected, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico expresses:
"We are heartbroken after learning of the tragedy that has affected these families in Chihuahua. Although we understand that they are not members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, our love, prayers, and compassion are with them as they mourn and remember their loved ones."
